PILOT FREIGHT SERVICES is seeking a full time DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for our SAN DIEGO, CA LOCATION

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a revenue generating position for Pilot Truck Brokerage that requires tremendous focus and dedication to the sales process. Looking for candidates that have an existing book of business that can transition into PTB. In addition to generating their own revenue they will be supporting the existing Pilot reps at each station. Revenue production plan: Month 1 training and orientation, month two $75,000 in gross revenue, month three $125,000 month four $200,00 month five $325,000 month six $400,000.

• Bachelors Degree in Business  preferred or  5+ years equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience in Business Development

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required
• Must have a proven track record in transportation sales development;
• Must be able to interact with National & Regional Sales Teams, as needed
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
