The OTR Business Development intern will support the Over the Road (OTR) Outside Sales department during the course of this 10-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and this experience will help you grow both professionally and personally.
Primary Functions:
The OTR Outside Sales intern will remotely support the OTR Outside Sales team and take part in activities such as: prospecting, lead generation, appointment setting, discovery, and sales coordination in support of the Senior Sales Managers. The intern will cold call to generate leads and new business opportunities, support the prospect pipeline and provide support to Senior Sales Managers in closing new freight brokerage customers ranging in size from $1-$25 Million in annual expected revenue. Additionally, the intern will take part in sales training activities.
