Logistics Associate

Responsibilities

• Enter purchase orders and sales in the internal system
• Arrange and book deliveries
• Follow up with suppliers on the open orders
• Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information up to date
• Book export shipments with ocean carriers and FFW
• Ensure operational activity is executed in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to suppliers, vendors, and customers
• Create Export Documentation, including filing AES, with a high attention to details
• Audit Bills of Ladings and invoices

Requirements

• Bi-lingual English / Spanish preferable
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and disciplined problem solving skills
• Detailed oriented
• Demonstrated competency in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word).
• Ability to communicate and provide customer support to clients and suppliers
• Knowledge of INCO Terms is a plus
