  • Responsibilities

    OuiHours is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the Editorial Team. The ideal candidate will have some experience writing and reporting at a previous media internship or school newspaper. The person will work closely with the creative and marketing teams on research, content creation, and idea generation. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, quickly growing environment. Ideal candidates will display a passion for fashion, pop-culture, and consumer-facing products. This is an unpaid internship with the possibility of full-time paid employment based in our NYC offices. School credit is available.

    The range of responsibilities and level of challenge depend largely on initiative and self-motivation. Interns are always welcome to suggest ideas, for instance, and to try to generate material for any section of our online magazine. More specifically:

    • Write and produce posts in the informed, entertaining OuiHours voice

    • Pitch original ideas in editorial meetings

    • Obsessively read news and blogs about consumer-facing products and viral trends online

    • Take a leading role in developing our voice on twitter.

    OuiHours, the 1st shoppable online fashion magazine dedicated to lingerie has launched (www.ouihours.com).

    OuiHours will be elevating the world of lingerie (and stories that fall from the spine of intimates). We have a great creative team that has rallied together to bring this to life, including Bruce Weber, David LaChapelle, among many others.

    Bonnie Pressman, who strategized and conceptualized the expansion of the Women’s business at Barneys New York, is our Head Merchant and Alex Dulac, a Harvard MBA who has run a number of online fashion and media businesses, is our CEO. OuiHours’ Creative Director, Marc Balet, served as creative director for Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine for 11 years and has subsequently art directed campaigns for Barneys New York, Yves St. Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld as well as in the intimate’s realm with La Perla, Nancy Ganz, Warnaco, NIKE Women.
