  • Responsibilities

    Accounting/Finance professionals at John Deere serve as business counselors to operations leadership and other company management. Through these partnerships, they integrate financial information into the decision-making process to create value for the company.

    As an employee in our Accounting/Finance Development Program (FDP) you will be provided with opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere's products and services. Career development is a priority and this program includes rotational assignments and inter-unit transfers so that you have plenty of opportunities to learn about the company and move to different assignments in the future. FDP rotations may include assignments in cost accounting, general accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, treasury operations and internal audit.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial/cost reports, statements, or exhibits. 
    • Gather, review, and analyze financial information. 
    • Perform financial analysis in support of business counseling 
    • Perform internal controls assessment to ensure adequate controls are in place

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or a related degree. Accounting degree preferred. 
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale required, 3.25 preferred. 
    • Minimum of 12 credit hours in Accounting coursework preferred. 
    • Must be able to relocate domestically.  Assignments can be at various locations throughout the United States.
