    The ANALYTICS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM is a full-time, permanent position for new or recent graduates. The Analytics Development Program provides an accelerated development experience during the first 3 years of employment in the company, through 3 one-year-long work assignments. Employees rotate across varied functional areas such as Financial Services, Information Technology, Marketing, Order Fulfillment and Engineering. Participants in the Analytics Development Program benefit from a range of opportunities, including:

    • learning about 3 different areas of John Deere’s business within the first 3 years of your career
    • building a network of contacts across teams, divisions and functions faster
    • developing an understanding of data from 3 distinct areas
    • gaining expertise using the latest analytics technology & tools
    • learning about a variety of career paths at Deere

    FULL-TIME positions are also available within our Analytics function

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    • Lead and/or support key analytics projects
    • Integrate large and diverse data sets together
    • Learn and apply appropriate data science techniques to solve business problems
    • Collaborate with data and analytics colleagues and key business stakeholders

    DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

    • Advanced degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related degree.
    • Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 
    • Knowledge applying statistical analyses and analytical methodologies on advanced analytics problems
    • Ability to demonstrate your development of algorithms and predictive models to solve a problem
    • Proficiency in programming languages SQL, SAS, R, or Python

    We have development program locations in Moline, IL and Des Moines, IA areas so you MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE AND TRAVEL DOMESTICALLY.
