    The John Deere intern experience prepares candidates for future roles in John Deere’s Equipment divisions, including our development programs. As a Summer 2018 Customer & Product Support Intern, you will receive varied work experiences that provide exposure to John Deere’s product lines, customer and product support activities, and the independent dealer organization.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Utility Tractor Problem Resolution.
    • Support the lead Problem Resolution Product Support Rep for Augusta, GA.
    • Lead Quality Improvement team meetings, participate in problem resolution activities, visit customers and/or tractors to gather data and understand issues to determine root cause.
    • Work to enhance the timeliness of solution implementation.
  • Qualifications

    Skills You Will Need

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Ag Systems Management/ Ag Mechanization, Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology/Ag Systems Technology or Agronomy.
    • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and have the ability to legally rent a car.
    • Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulate GPA required 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • An understanding of technical issues such as Hydraulics, Electrical, Mechanical or Ag Systems.
    • Capable of analyzing data and deriving insights to facilitate decisions.
    • Organizational skills to track multiple issues and interact with teams that are assigned to work on said issues.
    • Knowledge of small ag, ag equipment, mechanical and electronic systems including hardware and software.
    • Must be willing to relocate to Grovetown, GA.
    • Willing to travel to any John Deere location in the U.S.
    • Graduating December 2018 or later.
