    The John Deere intern experience prepares candidates for future roles in John Deere’s Equipment division, including our development programs. Interns receive varied work experiences that provide exposure to John Deere’s product lines, marketing and customer support activities and the independent dealer organization.

    Major Duties:

    • Support Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC) projects enabling dealers to provide resolution to product concerns and assist dealers in offering distinctive customer experience.
    • Fulfill a variety of developmental assignments to gain an understanding of customer and product support and field experience.
    • Develop, deliver and support the delivery of dealer and company personnel training on new products, processes (customer product support), promotions, systems, and technology.
    • Participate in training related to product and customer support processes.
    • Support customer and product support strategies to enable and support the use of telematics data, remote diagnostics and prognostics solutions.
    • Learn about the dealer distribution channel.
    • Work with selected field managers to gain experience.

    Skills You Will Need

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Ag Business, Ag Systems Management, Industrial Technology, Construction Management and a variety of Engineering and technical disciplines such as Ag, Mechanical and General Engineering and other related degrees.
    • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and have the ability to legally rent a car.
    • Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • We have internship locations across the United States so you must be willing to relocate domestically.
    • Willing to travel and relocate to any John Deere location in the U.S.
