    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    As an ELECTRICAL PV&V ENGINEER at John Deere Construction and Forestry in Dubuque, IA you will lead, plan, develop, and execute verification plans (testing and analysis) for electrical components, sub-systems, and systems on one or more C&F product lines. In addition, you will:

    • Provide leadership to less experienced engineers on the planning and executing of electrical verification by providing direction on planning, technical decisions, and priority for one or more product lines
    • Lead internal teams to drive methodology and efficiency improvements
    • Provide problem solving of electrical issues on new product development and current production
    • Lead/Participate on PDP (Product Delivery Process) and PV&V teams as the Electrical PV&V representative, ensuring PV&V activities and plans are formulated and followed

  • Qualifications

    WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED

    • Experience with environmental verification testing
    • Experience in product verification and validation work
    • Experience with electrical wire harness circuits and routing
    • 1.5 or more years of Electrical Engineering experience performing analysis, testing, and/or design work
    • Experience with electrical components such as batteries, starters, alternators, rocker switches, relays, solenoids, sensors, actuators, connectors, and controllers and monitors
    • Experience working with suppliers in the application of electrical components
    • Experience with serial communications

    WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

    • Knowledge of standard laboratory instrumentation and calibration processes
    • Knowledge of environmental verification testing
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Working knowledge of EMC and EMC testing

    EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE)

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
