    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    DUTIES:As a Heat Treat Manufacturing Engineer, you will assist in the design and development of heat treat processes including, but not limited to carburizing, induction hardening, straightening, and shot peening of ferrous materials. The tasks would include: assisting the development of heat treat processes and lab work associated with the verification of the processes. Work will likely be focused on one or two specific projects in the heat treat area.;

    REQUIRED:

    • Basic knowledge of ferrous metallurgy, mechanics of materials, statistics, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, as well as problem solving and critical thinking skills.;

    DESIRED:

    • Understand and use basic engineering principles and apply problem solving skills to define, develop, and verify the work related to heat treatment of ferrousmaterials.
    • Previous work in a production environment and knowledge of statistical software or CAD applications is also beneficial.;

    EDUCATION:

    • Currently pursuing a 4 year degree.
    • Preferably Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields.
