    Your Responsibilities

    In this position, you will be a member of the John Deere User Experience team. This team supports the interface design of our in-cab displays, mobile applications, and web experiences. In addition, you may provide support to the Operator Station Engineering team and product lines by providing insights from a UX/Human Factors perspective. Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Provide UX expertise to one or more Operator Station or display related projects
    • Conducting user research activities including contextual inquiry, surveys, think-aloud testing and ethnography
    • Developing mockups and rapid prototyping of mobile applications and websites, working within and in addition to a style guide
    • Plan and participate in user validation events
    • Review existing research or analyze existing products, applying the findings to a specific problem and/or process.

    What Skills You Need:

    • User-centered design practices, user research, and testing skills, user interface design or usability testing experience Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a Bachelors Degree or Senior pursuing a Masters Degree in human factors, human computer interaction, engineering psychology, psychology, industrial design, or related degree.
    • Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Location, location, location! We have internship locations across the United States so you must be willing to relocate domestically.
