    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OFP SPECIALIST with John Deere in Dubuque, IA, you will be responsible for daily quality and delivery of hydraulic components for all Dubuque product lines. This includes:

    • Coordinating process improvement activities involving suppliers, design engineering, manufacturing, quality, product support, and other Supply Management personnel.
    • Engaging or leading cost reduction projects and resolving delivery/logistics issues.
    • Working with suppliers on Estimate to Cash (ETC) strategies that support order fulfillment objectives by participating in identification and implementation of optimal material replenishment strategies.
    • Gathering and communicating supplier quality & delivery data to appropriate contacts.
    • Support hydraulics Strategic Sourcing team on implementing new strategies.

    WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED

    • Supply Management experience
    • Experience with manufacturing processes, product design, specifications, and tolerances
    • Computer skills and experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, PDM Link, and cProjects
    • Negotiation and contract skills and experience
    • Willingness and ability to travel less than 25%
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good interpersonal, leadership, and facilitation skills
    • Good communication (verbal & written), business correspondence and documentation skills

    WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

    • Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process
    • Knowledge of unit processes and operations
    • Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
    • CPIM certification
    • CPM certification
    • MBA

    EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE)

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Management, Manufacturing, Accounting or other functional areas
