We’re hiring for full-time Tool Design Engineers within our Engineering Development Program. In your rotations, you will:
Work with manufacturing engineers to define project requirements
Concept, develop, design and detail custom firm tooling &/or gages
Procure materials and components for build
Follow up with toolmakers and manufacturing engineers to ensure project success
Pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,Weld Engineering or Manufacturing Technology with a focus in tool or machine design
Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
Experience with 3D parametric CAD software (Creo is preferred, but other software is acceptable)
What Sets You Appart
Experience with Toolroom manufacturing processes (CNC machining and programming, welding, EDM, grinding, laser, plasma, water jet etc.)
Understanding of applications of engineering materials and heat treatment for tooling
Tool design experience
Location, location, location! The current openings we have for Tool Design Engineers are in our Midwest locations. Candidates must be willing to relocate.
