    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Setup a couple of benchmarking CAA cases in CFD software, execute the simulation and compare the results from the publication.
    • Optimize the problem setup in CFD software to reduce the run time without sacrificing the accuracy.

    WHAT IT TAKES

    • Basic understanding of fluid dynamics, vibration theory and exposure to acoustics
    • Pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
    • Must be registered as a full-time student at Iowa State University
    • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
    • Graduation date of May 2019 or later 
    • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
    • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
    • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
