    Job Description

    SCOPE OF ROLE:   

    The Marketing Strategist Intern position at Abstrakt Marketing Group requires hardworking, marketing-minded candidates who will help Abstrakt and their clients garner increased traction with SEO, Social Media, and Email Marketing. We value our interns’ time and effort, so we will work hand in hand with our interns to ensure that they leave with a strong knowledge base of digital marketing strategies related to today’s environment. We pride ourselves on having a positive environment that will allow for interns to learn and grow with our team!  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create accurate and engaging content for social media clients. 

    • Develop and research SEO keywords and topics related to our clients. 

    • Manage and execute the day-to-day social media presences for clients on various social media sites, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media/collaboration sites. 

    • Analyze key metrics for all digital platforms and input into organized report 

    • Manage the online reputation of our clients: responding to and monitoring all positive and negative reviews, wall posts, messages, etc.  

    • Aid in the setup and monitoring of digital ads, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.  

    • Work alongside email marketing team to gain an understanding of best practices and how to implement these items. 

    • Help project manager various marketing activities for Abstrakt Marketing Group. 

    • Integrate content with WordPress website platforms.

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Strong knowledge of and passion for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, with an established presence on one or more; sense of different community behaviors and dynamics on those platforms. 

    • Strong desire in learning new digital marketing trends and how to implement them. 

    • Excellent copywriting skills; must be able to demonstrate strong editorial judgment and writing ability; able to quickly craft short, compelling copy for Twitter/Facebook that drives engagement, link sharing, and click-through, and to identify external comments and content that may be of interest to one or more of our fan communities. Must be up to date with current trends in social media and be personally active in the space. 

    • Online research skills with the ability to follow and track data relevant to the brand and client. 

    • Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or other related Liberal Arts Degree 

    • Basic understanding/experience with SEO, HTML, and WordPress a plus
