  • Responsibilities

    The Lead Network Administrator provides day-to-day maintenance and operations of the server environment. This role is responsible for installing application software; ensuring compliance with regulations and security directives; optimizing system performance; coordinating installation of new services and storage devices; replacing hardware , and managing account modifications such as password resets, additions, and deletions. The role is also responsible for performing control activities in support of cyclical changes to operational workloads, data administration, data compression, reorganization of files, recovery of systems, production of reports, download/upload of information, setup and verification of files and programs.

    The Network Administrator will provide escalated support & complete project-based work to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of the Accenture network environment. You should be self-motivated and be able to self-manage deadlines. The candidate should also be willing to work off-hours on critical issues.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides technical support escalation for the helpdesk and company users
    • Performs routine maintenance and support for all network devices such as firmware updates and daily configuration changes
    • Deploys, monitors, and maintains store network equipment
    • Monitors and troubleshoots network degradation
    • Creates and maintains deployment and support documentation
    • Collaborates with the Enterprise IT Support Team on projects, network issues, and other duties as assigned by the IT Manager

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of experience in an IT support or systems role
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience supporting network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, routing, wireless, etc.) in a multi-location topology
    • General understanding of firewall related concepts (NAT, ACL, etc.)
    • Must be able to manage time effectively and independently complete projects
    • Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM, Monday through Friday

    Base Salary Range: $110,200.00 - $137,800.00
