Intern - Corporate Auditor Conway/en-US/AcxiomUSA/job/Conway/Intern---Corporate-Auditor_JR004759/applyAs a Corporate Auditor Intern, you will conduct internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessments. You may also test and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy. The Corporate Auditor Intern reports discrepancies, prepares audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated, and executes internal audits within established business process controls. You will also develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and regulatory compliance agencies, if applicable, and make recommendations as appropriate. This role may also facilitate work of external auditors during on-site visits and may require audit knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information system operations. What you will do: * Engage in low complexity assignments while supporting the team on moderate to high complexity assignments * Participate in required training work with your leader to ensure ongoing evaluation * Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on contribution * Participate in audit projects as directed * Perform audit work, special projects and participate in subject matter specialist teams * Prepare and maintain business process documentation * Challenges the status quo through continuous improvements in execution * Apply audit skills to new business areas under supervision * Conduct internal controls testing in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements with supervision * Develop clear and concise written recommendations that may require some editing What you will need: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology with a minimum 3.25 GPA * Be an effective and contributing team member with the ability and willingness to establish positive, collaborative working relationships * Proven proficiency in basic audit skills * Demonstrable aptitude for project management * High level of attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills What will set you apart: * Minimum GPA 3.5 * Progress toward certification commensurate with duties (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA) We believe in creating an awesome workplace where associates feel engaged and want to come to work every single day.
