    In a rapidly changing IT environment, clients from all industries look to us for trusted solutions for their increasingly complex risks and vulnerabilities. As a member of our Cyber Threat Management team you’ll be right at the heart of that goal, helping clients gain insight and context to their cyber threats and assessing, improving, and building security operations in order to mitigate these threats. You’ll get to use your technical and business skills in order to help us drive this mission and have an impact on cyber security at a global level.

    The opportunity You’ll work alongside respected industry professionals, learning about and using the latest tools and techniques to identify and overcome some of the most relevant and pressing security issues in the world. It’s a highly specialized area, where you’ll learn highly sought after technical skills, all while developing your relationship management abilities – often by working directly on-site with our clients.

    What to expect Based on your existing experience, knowledge and ambitions, you could have the opportunity to gain experience across a number of our Cyber Threat Management teams, assessing and delivering foundational components of our services. Some of these teams include: Within the Active Defense team, you’ll work directly with our client’s network security, IT and physical security teams to identify potential threats. Projects could include investigating indicators of compromise, recommending ways to prevent or expose malicious activities and instructing on Next Generation Security Operation Center techniques for threat detection.

    The Cyber Threat Intelligence team is all about advising clients on how to identify priority intelligence requirements for threat detection. Potential tasks include analyzing threat landscapes and designing, implementing or supporting client intelligence collection.

    On our Incident Response team, you’ll provide clients with effective responses in the event of information security breaches. That could mean handling capability assessments, conducting tabletop exercises, evaluating client responses through war gaming and developing tailored strategic responses.

    Within our Operational Technology team, you’ll support us in advising clients on industrial control systems and security technology requirements. Responsibilities could include supporting us in assessing security controls and compliance against industry standards.

    As part of the Security Analytics team, you’ll advise clients on current and emerging techniques used to detect compromises within information networks. Projects may include assessing current data analysis capabilities, prioritizing threat detection goals and advising on Big Data storage or technology requirements.

    Within our Security Monitoring team, you’ll actively manage and develop threat detection and response programs for clients. Engagements here could include designing, building and improving client Security Operation Centre capabilities and remotely detecting cyber threats. Our Software Security team implements secure coding practices across software development lifecycles. Tasks here could include evaluating existing programs and codes for vulnerability and suggesting effective solutions at all stages of the development process.

    As part of our Vulnerability Identification team, you’ll identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to operational environments. Projects here could include penetration testing and simulating physical breaches to identify vulnerabilities.

    Our Vulnerability Management Services team covers a wide range of solutions to create or improve vulnerability management programs. That could include advising and assisting on current processes, software development, Incident response and security monitoring.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Understanding clients’ cultures and operations to influence important decisions on cyber threats
    • Monitoring current and emerging trends to identify potential risks and opportunities to improve the way work
    • Using root-cause analysis to recognize and present challenges to clients and colleagues at all levels
    • Investigating cyber breaches using forensic and malware analysis
    • Designing, building and delivering vulnerability management programs

  • Qualifications

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • An achieved or progress toward a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related major
    • Proven Unix, Windows, networking and wireless security skills
    • A deep understanding of TCP/IP networking
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
    • Strong technical skills in a broad range of operating systems and databases
    • A driver’s license valid in the U.S

    Ideally, you’ll also have

    • Training in programming languages such as Java, C, C++, C#, asp, and .NET
    • Knowledge of intelligence collection disciplines including SIGINT, HUMINT and OSINT
    • An understanding of emerging threat characterization frameworks such as OpenIOC, STiX, CybOX and MAEC
    • The ability to perform basic static and dynamic malware analyses
    • Familiarity with network-based vulnerability exploitation tools
    • A firm grasp of application security source code assessments
    • Experience with EnCase, FTK, or Sleuthkit
