As an Associate Analyst you’ll be based at Service Delivery Center (SDC) located in Jacksonville, FL which is made up of high-performing US-based employees who work closely with our experienced Tax professionals to deliver work to our Financial Services clients. What to expect:

You’ll spend your time as part of a dynamic team, supporting clients around global withholding and investing. This means we’ll need you to interpret descriptions, understand the nuances of each project, deliver quality-assured reports, collect client information, research third party websites for global withholding tax changes around the world, create and update tax matrices, draft and publish tax alerts.

On top of this, you’ll need to be ready to interact with team members, and build positive client relationships across multiple levels. In return, you’ll learn effective organization and time management skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

Your key responsibilities:

• Create and process data files which will be sent to external clients
• Perform data analytics which can include amending, updating and creating new information from that data
• Conduct QA on all client deliverables ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Research company and asset ID information from various internal and external sources
• Research third party websites for global withholding tax changes with respect to dividends, interest and capital gains and report changes to the team for inclusion into the Global Withholding Tax Reporter tool
• Collaborate and coordinate with EY foreign offices to obtain current withholding tax information
• Support operational processes around technology re-platform efforts for all services
• Assist with client agreements, internal and external email communications, and ancillary projects
• Maintain required analytics and client registration for the tax technology tools

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in general business, liberal art, or technology, with a strong academic record
• Project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• The flexibility and willingness to work in excess standard hours when necessary
• Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment
• Experience with analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature
