    Facilities Operations and Maintenance Support Posted Date 2 days ago (12/31/2018 11:20 AM) Job ID 9829 # Positions 1 Job Location US-VA-Suffolk Experience (Years) 2 Category Other - Other Overview Capstone Corporation is currently seeking a Facilities and Technical Support Technician II to support the Joint Staff Service Support Office (JSSSO) located in Suffolk, VA. Responsibilities Executes Maintenance Management Manual procedures, as required, for preventive maintenance & operation of the uninterrupted power supply system and auxiliary & emergency power. Monitors compliance with the GSA facility lease. Executes the Lockout/Tag-out Manual program, including providing a qualified operator to conduct lockout/tag-out procedures in support of building-owner facility maintenance or the servicing of existing equipment. Maintains familiarity with the power distribution system for providing escort for the building owners thermal/infrared imaging of generators, uninterrupted power supply, and electrical distribution equipment. Maintains existing JSSSO facility AutoCAD & Adobe file drawings and performs configuration management by updating facility modification plans, databases, and tracking systems. Provides non-IT setup and preparation for events such as exercises, meetings and demonstrations, and reconfiguration requirements in test bays and administrative spaces. Provides as required, but unforeseen and thus infrequently, 24 hour, 7 days a week on-call support for facility infrastructure systems issues. Supports the enforcement and execution of the JSSSO Parking Instruction by monitoring the Joint Staff email-box and acting on approved requests to post or remove magnetic signage, portable posts, cones, and barriers. Supports management of the GSA RWA miscellaneous project and the landscaping, custodial, and OT HVAC RWA account, including escorting 3rd party vendor maintenance and service personnel, when necessary. This includes drafting statements of work and tracking GSA orders for such services to account for funds expended and available. Provides administrative support to JSSSO by drafting & updating JSSSO documentation. Supports facility space management and the management & maintenance of the JSSSO Picnic Area, including the configuration of picnic tables and a BBQ grill. Provides Foreign Object Debris (FOD) removal & helo pad safety checks prior to helicopter arrival. Provides facility operation and maintenance services to resolve Help Desk calls. Applies HAZMAT policies as required to support facility maintenance operations. Basic Qualifications Minimum education and years of experience: Associate's Degree in related field or two additional years experience in lieu of degree. Two (2) years of related experience. Minimum qualifications: Familiarity with DoD logistics processes. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance and proper equipment storage guidelines. Use of the Lockout/Tag out program for support of building-owner facility maintenance or the servicing of existing equipment. Use of AutoCAD Adobe file drawing programs. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must provide proof of a valid Driver's License. Minimum clearance: Final DoD Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience maintaining and conducting trouble-shooting and fault diagnostics on UPS and building auxiliary generators.
