About the Opportunity Digital Management, LLC (DMI) is seeking a full time Web Content Analyst to participate in the administration and execution of web content on our clients internal and external websites. The Analyst will be participate in the operation and maintenance of the clients public website as well as its intranet portal, providing analysis for growth and success of digital content strategy. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring the well-being of the client's website, optimizing content by analyzing requirements of content owners. Maximizing use and effectiveness of web analytics. Implementing new website content, confirming content remains within style guidelines and is in line with best practices Creating new pages, updating and upgrading existing sites and adding alerts when needed Creating and maintaining new web tools and portlets as needed Liaising with different departments, coordinating and strategizing implementation of content Stay up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, web usability and industry trends Identify and implement SEO best practices for the organization Define target keywords, identifying growth opportunities, optimize individual website pages, microsites, blogs, social profiles, etc. Define requirements for website page structure that will result in discovery of the website and content in search engines Perform ongoing keyword discovery, competitor analysis and audience research to identify content gaps/opportunities; and drive content planning/creation Analyze content performance and use data insights to maximize results Elevate and evolve content to acquire, engage and convert online supporters Collaborate and provide guidance to organization departments to generate content with best practices always in mind Support digital services team with various tasks (sending emails, posting to blog, creating petitions, graphics creation, posting to website, etc.) as needed Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of related, proven successful work experience 1-2 years of experience in website analytics, including experience specific to Google Analytics. Required Skills/Certifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing, grammar and proofreading skills Deep understanding of content management and experience working with mid to large size website (1000+) pages/documents Digital analytics and reporting experience. Must be able to understand problems, analyze trends, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations Proven ability to perform analysis of online behavior on client websites to identify insights and opportunities for optimization and testing, and assessment of clients' business Proven record of accomplishment of solving content problems through analytics Proven track record of configuring analytics platforms, tagging, and segmentation and distilling results for presentation and review Sound analytical, conceptual and big picture problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook Web Browsers Experience working with website or newsletter content Current or prior experience in consulting or government contracting Able to work in a team setting; comfortable working with technical and non-technical team members Self-starter: must be able to pick up a project and see it through to completion Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, and work indecently as well as in a team setting Strong critical thinking, organizational, time management and prioritization skills Must be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance Desired Skills/Certifications: ( Experience with HTML and CSS Experience with JavaScript Experience creating graphics, using Adobe Photoshop or other tools Familiarity with SharePoint Physical Requirement(s): N/A Min.
