    Job Description

    The Epsilon Business Systems Analyst (BSA 2) will be an expert for a large Loyalty project. They will serve as the liaison between different business groups, IT/Development teams, and analytics teams. The BSA will play a key role within the technology organization across many disciplines, including reporting, documentation, quality control, offer configuration, and testing. This position will be working on a dynamic and rapidly expanding loyalty program. The position will require flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changing technology and program needs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Create special promotions by configuring the technical criteria, selecting the audience/test groups, and inputting copy/imagery for customer-facing components that live on the client’s website
    • Use Siebel to generate reports to monitor performance of offers and the overall health of the Loyalty program
    • Serve as a subject matter expert, responding to platform questions and troubleshooting by having a thorough understanding of the program, processes, and data available for reporting
    • Perform quality control checks on your own offers/reports as well as offers/reports that others have created
    • Proof some website content
    • Work with client’s IT team, providing input and suggestions for efficiencies and enhancements
    • Work with Technical Development team to outline high level business needs and test/validate functionality in a test environment (UAT)
    • Create offers and test data in UAT to test new offer functionality
    • Develop and maintain training and process documentation

    Desired Skills

    • Salesforce and/or Siebel experience
    • Strong technical aptitude with an understanding of business and technical language
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into appropriate deliverables
    • Strong drive, initiative, and sense of personal accountability
    • Ability to document information effectively
    • Ability to recognize downstream impacts from your work in creating promotions and flag them to the necessary groups
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships within the organization and clients
    • Strong ability to multitask and assess competing deadlines to prioritize work
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team
    • Background in marketing with an understanding of leveraging customer criteria to test offer performance
    • Experience working with sensitive customer data preferred
    • Ability to assess a situation, receive input from stakeholders, and select the best course of action
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
    • Willingness to be available after hours for UAT and IT releases that impact your area
    • Possesses good problem-solving skills
    • High level of patience for systems that can be slow and the ability to find creative workarounds for technical deficiencies whenever possible

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of BSA or technical marketing program experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Salesforce or Siebel experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
    • Experience working with loyalty programs or automotive preferred
