    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    Epsilon is looking for an experienced pharmaceutical proofreader with impeccable attention to detail to join our Digital Experience practice. Come, join a close-knit and growing team where you’ll get the opportunity to work on a variety of promotions with top clients! 

    JOB OVERVIEW As a member of our proofreader team, you will be responsible for proofreading and managing daily workflow on assigned projects. You will also be responsible to do the following:

    • Proofread assigned projects
    • Ensure correct grammar, spelling, usage, and adherence to AMA style as well as product and agency style guides
    • Adhere to review processes and brand-specific guidelines and project plans to meet deadlines and ensure quality
    • Perform check changes rounds and word-for-word reviews for final sign-off
    • Jump between brands while maintaining accuracy of brand specificity

    SKILLS REQUIRED To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • 2+ years of pharmaceutical ad agency experience preferred
    • Experience proofing medical/pharmaceutical content
    • Thorough knowledge of current AMA style
    • Understanding of FDA guidelines a plus
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Expertise in English grammar and spelling
    • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
    • Experience using WorkFront and Verify preferred
    • Experience using Adobe and Microsoft Software

    REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

    • At least 5 years of proofreading experience, in an agency setting or professional services organization; including checking documents for general errors, layout and style consistency, clarity, and cross-referencing a variety of materials.
    • Project management skills must include an ability to organize, prioritize, and structure multiple projects simultaneously, reconcile incoming content and direction, and work as a partner across multiple client teams and personalities.
    • A passion for hunting typos and correcting grammar; incredibly detailed and organized.
    • Accuracy under the pressure of extremely tight deadlines, with a strong work ethic toward getting tasks completed, no matter the obstacles thrown your way.
    • An ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Comfortably leading and collaborating as an effective team member, with the ability to both work independently and take direction well.
    • An ability to learn new programs, processes and systems quickly.

    EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

    • Email marketing
    • Mac proficiency
    • Working within an entirely digital process
