    Job Description

    We are seeking an energetic local Tampa Bay market manager to oversee an exciting water program from January 17, 2019 to April 29, 2019. This tour will be happening in the Tampa Bay area at local festivals, 5Ks and fairs. The objective of this program is to connect with the Tampa Bay community and spread brand awareness through grassroot sampling.

    As market manager, you will lead the on-site activation and manage our hydration station throughout program duration. You will also be assisting in selection and organization of our additional community events where brand assists in a community effort and invites others to volunteer.

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

    • Connect with the Tampa Bay area community at events and through grassroots sampling
    • Drive awareness of water products and community involvement to consumers within the Tampa Bay area
    • Achieve social media engagement, impressions, and targeted sampling
    •  Educate consumers on brands commitment to Florida and our community program

    MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES (may include but are not limited to below)

    •  Act as event lead and brand personality
    •  Show enthusiasm and dedication to brand on-site
    •  Deliver a memorable experience for consumers on behalf of the brand
    • Manage seamless event execution
    • Capture content that can be shared on brand social media channels
    •  Budget, keep organized and track inventory of samples
    • Work with agency team to select / organize additional community volunteer events
    •  Ensure product integrity at all times
    • Professionally represent and communicate the brand with consumers, clients, vendors, event contacts and partners
    •  Submit time tracking reports for BAs and keep accurate records of performance
    •  Provide daily recaps and analysis including photos of the event and consumer feedback for client review
    •  Maintain, pack, and store equipment to ensure elements are in good working condition for activation duration
    •  Exercise discretion and best judgment as needed for the overall program success
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Be a brand advocate
    • Strong connection to and knowledge of Florida culture, knowledge about the Tampa Bay area preferred
    •  Influence / good relationships within local community
    •  Appreciate the outdoors and physical well-being
    •  Friendly, punctual, articulate, positive, optimistic, outgoing
    • 3+ years of event management experience
    •  Experience managing minimum of 4-8 event staff
    •  Have a strong desire to interact with and educate others
    •  Experience with events and willingness to be on feet for up to 10 hours
    •  Must have experience managing large scale events, partnering with event organizers, production/storage companies and media
    •  Must be able to drive a dually truck + trailer
    •  Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. of equipment and display assets
    •  Must be able to work in a fast paced, unpredictable environment
