Job Description

Throughout the hybrid internship, you will assist and work closely with three of our social media departments: Organic, Paid, and Content Creation. You will gain knowledge and deeper insight into the platforms we use daily and the benefits they bring to each team and project. You'll be involved in social media projects from the beginning stages of brainstorming to the finalized posts that are live on our clients' channels. When working closely with our creators, you'll learn more about the different types of content we produce and how they diversify based on our clients. You'll also work closely with each client team on their client's objectives and help determine paid social media plans based on individual KPIs.

Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 2:00pm

• In person - Tues/Thurs (Inspira Marketing 5115 Avenida Encinas Carlsbad, CA 92008 )
• Work from home - Mon/Wed/Fri

Average Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
Compensation: This is an hourly paid internship with 1 hour unpaid lunch

This internship will begin on May 20, 2024 and end on August 2, 2024. Candidate must be available for all 11 weeks of the internship.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Paid : You will help assist the Paid Media Specialists and their clients. Your responsibilities include monitoring campaigns across paid social/paid search to identify potential optimizations and building and reporting on monthly analytics. You should feel comfortable and capable of building campaigns, audiences, and ads for paid search, display, and paid social (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Google, etc)

• Organic : You will work closely with our Account Managers and their clients. You will help with Community Management, Copywriting, brainstorming/concepting for monthly client calendars, researching trends, pulling data for analytics reports, and overall supporting the Account Managers with client projects as they come up.

• Content Creator : You will assist our Content team when needed. Your responsibilities may include helping set up and organize photoshoots, hand modeling client products, resizing images, and organizing our prop closet.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of relevant paid & social media marketing experience
• Must be familiar with major social networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
• Understanding of all aspects of digital marketing and analytics, especially paid search, display, retargeting, email and social.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics reporting
  • Basic understanding of Paid Search
  • Proficiency in Facebook & Google paid advertising
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics
• Understanding of both ad & website tagging/pixel implementation and measurement
• Understanding of and strong interest in digital marketing concepts and trends
• Must feel comfortable being involved in photoshoots and modeling client products if needed
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and other content editing tools (after effects, illustrator)
• Organized and excellent time management

Additional Information

The compensation range for this internship is between $16.00-$19.00 hourly. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location.
