    Job Description

    The Finance intern will work on the agency’s finance team supporting the current business while exploring a career interest in marketing and finance. Interns will develop skills and gain industry experience.

    Office Hours: Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 5:00pm

    First two weeks of internship is mandatory to be in the office for training.
    Hybrid schedule would begin on/about June 3, 2024.

    • In person - Tues/Thurs ( Inspira Marketing 50 Washington St. Norwalk, CT)
    • Work from home - Mon/Wed

    Average Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
    Compensation: This is an hourly paid internship with 1 hour unpaid lunch

    This internship will begin on May 20, 2024 and end on August 2, 2024. Candidate must be available for all 11 weeks of the internship.

    Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Audit credit card transactions for coding accuracy, and correct matching of receipts.
    • Credit Card dissemination, shipping, and tracking
    • Support credit card disputes with staff coordination
    • Ad Hoc Tasks and excel reporting/Accounts data match.
    • Organize and manage finance team’s weekly meetings agenda.
    • File management (shredding/filing/sorting/scanning)
    • Team project: TBD & assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Undergraduate course work in finance or accounting
    • Willingness to learn and grow
    • Mental agility and critical thinking skills

    Additional Information

    The compensation for this internship is $16.00 hourly. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location.
