Abraic is currently looking for an JDE Service Data Quality Consultant to support a client based in Farmington, CT. The ideal candidate will have a documented history of leading team, absorbing information, analyzing data, and making recommendations. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position is a 4-6-month contract assignment and will require the consultant to be on-site five days a week.

Work You’ll Do:

The main responsibilities of the JDE Service Data Quality position will be to address data issues within JDE Service Module. This position will work closely with the business lead and functional lead from the Service Build team to identify data issues, understand the causes and develop solution approaches. This position will support delivery of integrity reports that will highlight data issues that require attention. Other responsibilities include:

• Deferred revenue corrected based on reconciliation
• Develop a solution that will assess if all detail lines equal the adjustment lines
• Write SQL to build Integrity reports in Qlikview
• Provide an overall assessment of data quality across JD Edwards Service Module
• Assist in determining root cause of data issues to recommend appropriate solutions
• Develop SQL statements to update data when appropriate
• Document the integrity report and data correction process
• Conduct ad hoc analysis as required using varied analytical tools and techniques
• Troubleshoot and perform data audits to ensure and improve data integrity; investigate and resolve data discrepancies

What You’ll Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or other relevant field
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar position
• Must be competent in SQL
• Must be able to manage time effectively, working with multiple functions and requirements
• Experience with producing and delivering results in multiple formats, I.e Microsoft Office, dashboards, visualization tools, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of dealing with large data sets is required
• Demonstrated knowledge of database and dataset validation best practices

Preferred but not required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in statistics or analytics; Master’s degree is a plus
• Ability to analyze data across multiple software platforms, I.e. SAS, Power BI, Tableau
• Understanding of programming languages , I.e. SAS, R, SQL, Java, Python
• JDE experience within the Service Module
