Avascent is the leading independent strategy and management consulting firm serving companies in defense, aerospace, and technology. We are seeking full-time Analysts who are fluent in Japanese to join our team.

Our Japanese Speaking Analysts will directly support Avascent's expansion of services to Japanese clients. These projects are currently managed out of Avascent's DC headquarters but will be based out of the Tokyo office beginning in 2017.

As a Japanese Speaking Analyst, you will:

• Bring a rigorous, analytical perspective to client business problems

• Engage in a wide variety of projects (growth strategy, market assessment, due diligence, and contract, budget, and financial analyses)

• Love to learn from peers, managers, and formal training classes

• Take ownership on projects

• Build strong relationships with colleagues and project teams

• Highly proficient in Japanese

• Bachelor’s degree completed by start date

• Excellence in academics

• Relevant work experience is advantageous but not required

• Preference given to candidates with authorization to work in Japan and/or the U.S.

Strong academic performance, proven research and analytical skills, and an interest in business and industry issues. Open to relevant majors, including Economics, Management, Commerce, Engineering, Political Science, Finance, Government, History, and International Relations.
