Machinery Marketing International(MMI-DIRECT.COM) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented graphic designer to help steer brand direction in a vibrant, design-focused work environment. There is a possibility for increased workload or full time employment in the future based on needs and skill. Responsibilities: Be creative and bring new ideas, techniques, and perspectives to the table while maintaining the brand standards; Self-motivated to create email, web, advertisement, catalog, brochure, and more graphic layouts; Ability to create different types of for different platforms such as video, ads, images, photography, PowerPoint and others for web, social, events and more Meet deadlines and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities; Qualifications/Skills Required: Very creative with genuine excitement to create innovative, aesthetically pleasing work; Strong graphic design skills; Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Mac and PC products); Fundamental design skills, including knowledge of typography, composition, and color; Motivation to create design concepts with minimal oversight and evolving your designs over the course of the project, while still being able to take creative direction from managers and internal stakeholders; Ability to provide multiple creative solutions to problems; Great attention to detail while having an open mind for creativity exploration; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design (preferred); Experience working with Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop; Experience with HTML and WordPress is a plus; Job Type: Intern Pay: $15-20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to come onsite Chicago, IL 60612 (Preferred)
