    Job Description

    Metia is looking for an intern-level project manager to support cutting-edge integrated marketing projects, while learning fundamental project management and marketing skills. You will be working in an incredibly fast moving business, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions.

    This is an incredible opportunity for an active/graduating college student or early career professional to get their foot in the door with a leading area marketing firm.

    The ideal candidate will have formal training, certification or experience in project management (PMP, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum), and/or a strong desire to develop and maintain the skillset in a collaborative, challenging and fun environment. This role will act in a supporting function to a team of versatile project managers.

    This is a paid internship with flexible hours averaging between 25-35 hours per week.


    • Publish content in various content management systems
    • Draft client communications, including content for blogs, website, and social media
    • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
    • Document and follow up on important actions and decision from meetings.
    • Resourcing and time/bandwidth allocation
    • Driving project collaboration and task ownership
    • Backlog planning and Kanban board management
    • Provide administrative support as needed and undertake project tasks as required
  • Qualifications

    • Detail-oriented – an eye for detail is critical to success in this position

    • Clear and fluent communication style both written and orally

    • Highly organized and process-oriented

    • Ability to juggle competing priorities and quickly problem solve

    • Experience working with customers/customer service

      Technical skills

    • 1-2 years of Project Management experience or equivalent (academic or professional)

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Project, SharePoint and other Office tools

    • An eye for content and design details such as occasional document quality review/editing


    • PMP certification (either completed or currently in-progress)
