    Job Summary:

    Crowe’s Government Performance Improvement team helps government entities improve performance and efficiency across a broad array of their operational needs. Our public sector team members bring solutions that help government leaders with issues across financial management, operational efficiency and information technology in state and local governments.

    As a Public Administration/Government Business Analyst Consultant at Crowe, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in a wide variety of state and government agencies to help solve problems. This includes helping them determine their needs, along with assisting them in defining, designing, developing and implementing solutions that provide critical value to their organization.

    Projects in this role could include business process consulting/reengineering, organizational change management, project management support, technology assessments, financial analysis, data analysis, and functional assistance implementing new technology systems that enable clients to improve the performance of their organizations. Typical project responsibilities include process mapping, data and requirements gathering and analysis, client meeting facilitation support, preparing and supporting presentations, project management support, change management, and business process analysis.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in: Public Policy, Public Affairs, Public Management, Public Finance, Business Administration
    • Master’s Degree preferred
    • GPA of 3.3 or above
    • Experience working (including internships) with state and local governments preferred
    • Willingness and ability to travel

    Additional Skills:

    • Strong analytical, organizational and core project management skills
    • Ability to help client personnel to leverage technology to solve business problems
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Possess conceptual thinking skills, creativity and flexibility
    • Work well both independently and in a team
    • Self-sufficient and have the ability to self-manage
    • Understanding of public sector operations
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
