    PUBLIC SECTOR FINANCIAL CONSULTING INTERN

    As a Public Sector Financial Consulting Intern in Crowe’s Consulting Practice, your role will be focused on helping state and local government clients resolve business needs through analyzing data along with defining, crafting, developing and implementing business and technology solutions. Through this role, you will assist Public Sector clients with navigating capital markets, developing strategies for funding various projects, and completing long-term capital and operational planning.

    • Create and deliver value-added reports and projects through strong deliverables that simplify complex issues and communicate results of analysis

    • Collaborate and develop partnerships with clients, prospects, colleagues and communities

    • Exhibit strong communication skills when consulting with senior management, client personnel and government officials and regulators

    • Learn and work well both in teams and independently

    • Adapt to continuously changing risk environments and effectively manage time

    • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity to enable a deeply specialized skill set

    • Cultivate and enable strong relationships within your clients and community

    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

    • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    • Desire to sit for and obtain a firm supported certification (e.g., CPA, Series 50, etc.)

    • Willingness to travel up to 30% or more annually

    • Working towards a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Public Finance, Public & Environmental Affairs, Public Policy, Economics, or any comparable major.
