- Kansas City, MO Part-time, Internship Quartermaster Marketing is a
full-service marketing agency located in the heart of Kansas City's
Crossroads Art District. Our client, a cloud-based volunteer management
software company that helps organizations manage volunteers, events and
fundraising efforts is looking for an ambitious
business/marketing/communications student who wants to: * Learn and grow
new business and marketing skills with experienced mentors. * Build and
expand a portfolio of real achievements to add to their resume. * Get
paid doing what they love. The Business Development and Strategy intern
is a part-time (20 hours avg), paid position. Responsibilities In this
role, youll work with the marketing and sales team to: * Build new and
sustainable customer relationships through email, phone calls and
in-person meetings. * Convert prospects into customers. * Assist current
customers with questions via chat and over the phone. * Lead software
demonstrations to prospective customers. * Build and refine a segmented
prospective customer list. * Help build and manage new and prospective
customer databases. * Take on as-needed tasks. * Work with the Director
of Communications to create and execute new marketing strategies. *
Target and manage affiliate partners Qualifications The Business
Development and Strategy Intern role requires you to be: *

able to speak clearly and comfortably to a diverse group of people.

adventures. Requirements * Must be legally able to work in the United
States. * Must be a current junior or senior working toward a bachelors
degree in marketing, communications or business and have at least a 3.0
GPA. * Must be able to work daytime hours. Work time is flexible, but
