    We are the technical leaders of our firm that assist community, regional, national, and international clients assess and refine their information security posture, technology implementations, and regulatory compliance.     Desirable Pre-requisite Knowledge:

    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships
    • Strong written communication skills and the ability to provide thought leadership relevant to the interests and needs of our clients
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Python, etc.
    • Proficient in the design and implementation of databases and SQL
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Familiar with analytical software such as R, SAS, STATA, SPSS, etc.
    • Familiar with Big Data concepts, structures and tools such as Hadoop
    • Understanding of Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire or Microsoft Power BI
    • Eager to develop strong technical skills for technologies and applications our clients use

    Expectations:

    This is a fast-paced environment with a high learning curve, so we provide many resources and on-the-job training opportunities – if you are willing to learn and build your areas of expertise, you will succeed. You will be exposed to a variety of technologies in different environments

    Candidates must:

    • Have a passion for making the world more honest, transparent, safe and secure
    • Have a strong technology background and a desire to apply it in a meaningful way
    • Be willing to travel 50%-75% (2-3 weeks per month)
    • Our team travels mostly around the continental US (international travel possible)
    • Most travel consists of 3 or 4 overnights per week
    • Have a desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, and self-study
    • Be capable of independently managing time and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Be able to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences, such as company officers (CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs)

    Target Certifications by Year Three (one of the following)

    • Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
    • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
    • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

    Education:

    We are seeking college juniors, seniors or graduate students completing their studies in 2020 and are pursuing academic degrees in one of the following preferred majors (or similar background):

    • Computer Science
    • Business, Data or Predicative Analytics
    • Data or Management Science
    • Management or Computer Information Systems
    • Informatics
    • Information Technology / Security / Assurance
    • Mathematics
    • Economics / Econometrics
    • Statistics
    • Or other quantitative major
    • A minimum 3.0 GPA (major and cumulative) is required; 3.2 GPA (major and cumulative) is preferred.
