    Our Financial Service Organization (FSO) is an industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants. Our Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing US-based employees who work closely with our client serving professionals to deliver project-based support work to our Financial Services clients.

    Within the Service Delivery Center, our Operations segment is comprised of three main businesses: Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC), Testing and Tax Support.     The opportunity You could find yourself assisting clients to drive business-led and technology-enabled transformations across a broad range of business issues. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team where we’ll need you to be able to learn on the job quickly and help us build something new and exciting within the business.

    As part of the FCC team, you’ll be responsible for helping EY clients support operational processes to identify and report on unusual or potentially suspicious activity. Your work could include investigating a customer record and completing information on the research, reviewing transactions or evaluating suspicious activity on client accounts. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Providing core due diligence and investigative research on client projects, and preparing final written documentation supporting the findings
    • Collecting and assessing client information and leveraging third-party sources to conduct research
    • Analyzing customer transactional records and legal documentation
    • Reviewing corporate and legal structures of clients’ customer base
    • Collaborating with team lead and quality control team to ensure your work meets quality standard

    As part of the Testing team you’ll spend your time as part of an entrepreneurial team, looking to validate that changes to client technology platforms will support the new capabilities that they are trying to take to market. This means we’ll need you to interpret descriptions, understand the nuances of each project, then write test scripts, design tests and also execute tests and thoroughly report on the results. On top of this, you’ll need to be ready to interact with team members, and build positive client relationships across multiple levels. In return, you’ll learn effective organization and time management skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting tests and undertaking analysis of results to confirm that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirements
    • Delivering quality assurance of test scenarios, scripts and execution results
    • Working as a bridge between business, technology and strategy to facilitate user application testing
    • Estimating the effort and cost for a large complex test solution
    • Supporting the definition of the test strategy for large programs, projects, or complex products or solutions
    • Working with offshore and senior QA managers to deliver projects on time
    • Driving transformational change in the way the clients deliver application testing services in their organizations

    As part of the Tax Support team, you’ll spend your time supporting the Tax team, looking to deliver quality-assured tax related deliverables to support various teams within the FSO Tax Practice. Your work could include interacting with team members in our Global Delivery Center, analyzing data, and communication with external clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Creating and processing data files which will be sent to external clients
    • Performing data analytics which can include amending, updating and creating new information from that data
    • Conducting QA on all client deliverables ensuring accuracy and completeness
    • Researching companies and asset ID information from various internal and external sources
    • Collaborating and coordinating with EY foreign offices
    • Supporting operational processes around technology re-platform efforts for all services
    • Managing variety of tasks related to client billing , including but not limited to invoicing, coordination with financial associates and communication with external clients
    • Assisting with client agreements, internal and external email communications, and ancillary projects
    • Maintaining required analytics and client registration for the tax technology tools

    As part of the Project Management team, you’ll spend your time looking to validate the changes to client technology platforms to support the new capabilities that they are trying to take to market. On top of this, you’ll need to be ready to interact with team members, and build positive client relationships across multiple levels.     Your key responsibilities include:

    = Day to day support for management of projects including milestones, resources, finances, leveraging the designated project methodology & tools, and ensuring appropriate level of status communication Initiate the creation and development of project scope and schedule

    • Assist in managing communications, and cost management of projects/programs
    • Demonstrate the ability to effectively negotiate priorities across multiple groups/teams - Communicate any project or resourcing roadblocks to leadership
    • Help develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders beyond IT services, including (but not limited to) Finance, Communications, and Legal to cover any and all potential downstream implications of the project
    • Assist in identifying and implementing improvements/solutions to all projects
    • Help measure project performance using appropriate ATTG tools and techniques in order to monitor the process of the project or sub-project identifies and quantifies any variances
    • Meet project expectations defined by pillar leads and project stakeholders - Identify, communicate and address project risks, assumptions and constraints
    • Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation among the team Analytical/Decision Making - - Responsibilities - collect and report on status (weekly and monthly) and you are responsible for delivery of project specific tasks as needed.

  • Qualifications

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • A bachelor’s degree in general business, technology, liberal arts or related fields
    • Strong academic record
    • Project management, teaming, organizational, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow written procedures closely, as well as be able to effectively document the results of your analysis
    • Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment
    • Experience with analysing and solving problems of a complex nature
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and/or SharePoint) and willingness to learn firm and client specific technologies
    • Willingness to learn the scope and application of AML/Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Sanctions regulations and expectations in a business environment (exclusive to FCC)
