    What you’ll do

    In this support role on AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will work with our in-house SharePoint team, building and supporting key applications.  You can look forward to working on real-world LOB applications from a learning/collaborative centric environment, troubleshooting and solving problems,  being part of a team with an opportunity to learn the latest Microsoft technologies and develop web & coding languages all while gaining experience working on multiple projects at the same time (time/priority management).

    The SharePoint Intern (known internally as Corporate Applications SharePoint Intern) is a short term/full-time role located in Southfield, Michigan and reports to the Lead SharePoint Architect Manager. Paid relocation and benefits are not available for this position.

    • Learn and get trained on the latest SharePoint's frameworks and Microsoft cloud technologies – ex: Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Tools stack (PowerApps, Flow and PowerBi)
    • Work closely with the other Admins on administrative tasks to support the Team
    • Work closely with developers on Programming tasks (primarily using Microsoft Stack)
    • Work on web languages such as HTML5 & CSS3
    • Work with code languages such as JavaScript & JS Frameworks such as jQuery
    • Support the team on project and migration tasks (Validating Content & Data) before handing off the projects for QA Testing
    • Create technical documentation on existing and new applications/integrations.

  • Qualifications

    What you’ll need

    • General knowledge\understanding of Microsoft Technologies such as Microsoft/Office 365, SharePoint and the Power tools such as Power Apps, Flow and Power BI
    • General knowledge\understanding of Server side (C#) and client side (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Code Languages
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers
    • Ability to work independently and under time constraints with verbal or written instructions
    • Desire to learn new skills and improve and provide high quality work
    • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
