talented and versatile Web Development Intern to join our IT team! You
will have the opportunity to assist with the design, development and
implementation of web sites and related technical solutions, working
with a team of web developers and product owners. Responsibilities What
you do: * Be a part of a small team of web developers and work with
website marketers to build easy-to-use, SEO friendly, and
high-performance websites * Participate in the SDLC using SCRUM to plan,
estimate, design amp; develop, test and implement technology solutions *
Collaborate with website marketers to create effective web digital
marketing solutions using technology; demonstrate business acumen in
identifying and creating the right tech solutions * Team-up with IT
management, product owners to implement strategic improvements * Review
and assist with on-going operational and maintenance requests Learning
Opportunities: * Experience developing CMS (Drupal or WordPress), HTML5,
CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP (WAMP), and REST APIs * Gain solid
experience with design amp; development of custom plugins and/or modules
Develop Understanding of SEO principles and how it impacts web
development, including tech considerations * Experience with Object
Oriented Programming and implementing and/or customizing web development
frameworks * Experience with creating and using web services. *
Experience with doing software development using Agile Methodology *
Gain work experience in a digital marketing environment is a big plus
