As the Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist, you will review, research, and resolve Unapplied Funds on receipts and overpayments on invoices. What youll do on a typical day: - Resolve Unapplied Funds in 2-3 business days; research methods include pulling batches to review detail, contacting customers, working with collections, and using system resources such as Objectview and Oracle - Apply funds to outstanding accounts receivable or issue refunds back to customers or another department - Work on the GetPaid (collection system software) report to ensure timely resolution of items in dispute and/or needing immediate attention; collaborate with internal and external parties to identify and reconcile issues - Review suspended and pending items daily to ensure appropriate action is taken once customer and/or collection staff has appropriately responded to request for action - Work with the Check21/Lockbox team with remittance keying on heavy deposit days - Perform root cause analysis and develop sustainable countermeasures as needed to correct occurrences future state; maintain accounts receivable records by entering new and updated customer and payment information - Enter customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner; maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, youll need: - Associate degree or equivalent experience - 3 years of experience in accounts receivable

• Excellent data entry skills (10-key and typing) - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle Financials, and Objectview - Knowledge of freight bills and freight terms; ability to read and understand Bills of Lading Itd be great if you also have: - Coursework in Accounting or Finance - Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience - Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities - Strong time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize workloads - Demonstrated analytical capabilities - Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems Be part of something big.
