Become the technology leader you’re meant to be, by building tomorrow’s technology today. What you’ll do on a typical day:Participate in all stages of application development which includes front-end web and/or API developmentCollaborate with a fast-paced, extremely talented team that values collaboration and delivers high-quality resultsDevelop software using technologies such as Angular 5+, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, JPA, JAX_RS and moreAct as a catalyst to building frameworks and supporting application infrastructureWork as an active member of the Enterprise Architecture team in the development and support of complex distributed systemsApply best coding practices and standardsSupport the development of APIs to support web applicationsWork in an agile start-up environment with daily standups and continuous integrationWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you’ll need:Background or education in related field 2 or more years of relevant courseworkIt’d be great if you also have:Class status as a junior (3rd year) or greater2 or more years of relevant software development courseworkDevelopment experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as JavaScript, Java, Python, C++, etc.Development experience with at least one JavaScript framework (Angular, AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, etc.)Experience in web, mobile and responsive designSolid technical competency in coding and testing; good object-oriented programming language skillsA portfolio that reflects intuitive, functional and original designSelf-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as neededAbility to be open-minded and receptive to feedback in an intellectually rigorous environmentStrong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problemsGood organizational skills with the ability to multitaskGreat verbal and written communication skillsBe part of something big. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
