What youll do on a typical day: - Complete customer orders for embroidery, engraving, or monogramming - Perform general maintenance such as applying lubrication/oil and wiping rails as required when prompted on screen - Mount sewing machine attachments like needles, threads, pattern plates or cutting blades, and adjust machine guides according to specifications - Monitor product quality of the sewing operation to spot problems such as defective stitching, thread breaks, or machine malfunctions - Inspect for various types of defects or damage, and mark errors as necessary - Segregate quality-accepted finished garments for packaging - Follow all safety guidelines and work instructions What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, youll need: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1 year of warehouse experience - Ability to measure using a ruler for proper placement of stitching - Ability to speak, read (fine print), and write in English, follow verbal and written directions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate with others Itd be great if you also have: - Ability to be cross trained to operate different style sewing machines Be part of something big.
