Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview

• 3 to 6 month internship op within Systems Engineering at MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

We are looking for an exceptional Intern or Co-op interested in the design, development, troubleshooting and debugging hardware and firmware for high power RF systems. The Intern or Co-op will support the development of new hardware subsystems, including specification, architecture, simulation, detailed design, component selection, layout, reliability prediction and/or test.

• Understand breakdown of generator specification to electrical subsystem or circuit board

• Conduct first article test on new subsystem or circuit board, validate specifications, support development of factory subsystem test development

• Support RF generator testing to validate operation in-situ

What will you bring to the team, along with your creativity and hard work:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Electrical or Computer Engineering

• Experience with standard laboratory test equipment (DMMs, Oscilloscopes, etc.)

• Experience/interest with RF systems

• Experience/interest in RF/Analog circuits
