    Through our partnership with UMass Lowell, we are looking for an exceptional Electrical Engineer Co-op who can…

    • Assist with design, debugging and board bring-up of analog and digital real-time embedded electronics for microprocessor-based control and communication hardware platform using combination of simulation, analysis, prototyping and testing.

    Applicants must be enrolled as students at UMass Lowell, and position duties include:

    • Assist with design of analog and digital electronic circuits including low noise analog circuits, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, communications interfaces, linear and switched-mode power supplies

    • Perform FAs for customers, make a corrective action plan to mitigate design issues and/or work with vendors to resolve component quality issue

    • Communicate technical information effectively in both oral and written for

    • Troubleshoot issues at the hardware and system level.

    What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity?

    • Student at UMass Lowell

    • Familiarity with embedded control electronics development

    • Familiarity working in a PC-based development environment, as well as with in-circuit emulators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other equipment for embedded systems development

    • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

    • Understanding of the printed circuit board fabrication process

    • Experience with stepper motor control is a plus

    • Good communication skills and a “hands on” approach to problem solving

    • Ability to work with minimum supervision with strong sense of ownership and desire for excellence
