    Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview-

    • 12-week or more intern / co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

    We are looking for an exceptional Thin-Film Manufacturing Engineer who can…

    • Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
    • Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
    • Estimates manufacturing cost determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
    • Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. 
    • Supports and leads efforted for lean continuous improvement projects that support manufacturing and the business

    What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity**:**

    • Qualified candidate must be a US Person
    • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for Optics/Photonics with concentration in physics
    • Developing professional expertise
    • Interests in: •    Process Development •    Design of Experiments •    Statistical Process Control •    Optics Manufacturing •    Photonics
