    • Summer intern / co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

    We are looking for an exceptional OPTICS AND PHOTONICS ENTHUSIAST who can...

    • Research Optics and Photonics supplier capabilities and limitations to inform engineering and sourcing decisions.

    • Work side by side with Global Category Management to develop and implement supplier selection and management strategies.

    • Identify emerging Optics and Photonics technologies and suppliers for potential future product integration.

    What will you bring to the team, along with your enthusiasm for Optics & Photonics is:

    • Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Engineering or Physics with concentration in Optics & Photonics.

    • Qualified candidate is a US Person.

    • Strength in Excel and the MS Office Suite.

    • Highly professional verbal and written communication skills.

    • Willing and able to reach out by phone and/or video to suppliers and internal stakeholders in support of project goals.
