    Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview

    • Summer intern / co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

    • Meaningful work and project assignments

    We are looking for an exceptional THIN FILM ENGINEERING INTERN who can...

    • Mentor with senior thin film engineer

    • Develop fundamental understanding of optical materials and properties, deposition chamber hardware and maintenance, and basic process control

    • Document best practices, create and update procedures, and help train technicians on latest changes

    • Analyze defects, help identify root causes and implement corrective actions

    • Present technical information regarding project status

    What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity:

    • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program for chemistry, materials science, engineering, physics, or math

    • Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

    • Strong communication and writing skills
