Caterpillar's MineStar Solutions team-part of our Resource Industries organization-is looking for early-career professionals ready to grow into future technical and customer-facing leaders through the MineStar Training Development Program.
This two-year rotational program is designed to give you hands-on exposure across the full MineStar ecosystem-from operations in active mining environments to training, implementation, engineering, and customer support. You'll develop deep product knowledge, real field experience, and a strong professional foundation-then transition into a long-term career role within Caterpillar.
Program Overview
Over the course of the program, you'll rotate through key MineStar capability areas, building both technical and customer-focused skills. At program completion, you'll be placed into a role aligned with your strengths and business needs, continuing your career within Caterpillar.
Your Rotational Experience
Training Rotation
Learn how technical knowledge is transformed into effective learning experiences.
Outcome:
You'll demonstrate mastery by delivering course training to an internal Caterpillar audience-proving your ability to clearly and effectively transfer knowledge.
Service Center Rotation
Get behind the scenes of MineStar customer support operations.
Outcome:
You'll be able to clearly explain customer case workflows and apply documented support methodologies to resolve incidents.
Operations Rotation
Experience MineStar solutions in action-where technology meets the mine site.
Outcome:
You'll perform team member duties independently, demonstrating applied operational knowledge in real-world mining conditions.
Service Engineering Rotation
Dive deeper into MineStar technology and troubleshooting.
Outcome:
You'll explain CPI and NPI processes and participate in a customer-site field follow exercise.
Implementation Rotation
See how MineStar solutions come to life at customer sites.
Outcome:
You'll clearly explain pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation activities at customer sites.

Summary Pay Range:
$79,800.00 - $119,760.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
