Job Summary: The packer is responsible for packaging orders per written specifications,nbsp;expected to obtain and maintain a valid fork truck license in order to transport completed orders to shipping department, andnbsp;expected to run production reports. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Fills orders with finished rolls from stock pile * Packing finished roll goods in the proper box/container * Operation of Label Printer * Assures orders and roll goods are in the shipping department in time for shipment * Maintains packing and label supplies at pack station * Maintains good housekeeping in area * Performs other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor and or Lead Operator * Deliver and hang jumbo in slitter unwinds * Deliver and hang jumbo in storage locations * Operation of end-sealers including piece cutting and kiss cutting * Packaging Kits * Trains contingent workforce nbsp;This position will require: * Working overtime, including short-notice overtime * Weekend work * Working on holidays as needed * Working rotating shifts * Obtaining a valid fork truck license * Lifting up to 50 lbs. assisted and/or unassisted Basic Qualifications:nbsp; * Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher Preferred Qualifications: * Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or (1) year military experience * Possess certifications includingnbsp;OSHA, hazmat, or production related certifications Location: Brownwood, Texas Relocation: Is not authorized nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M employment testing as a part of the selection process.
