    BASIC DESCRIPTION:

    This is an opportunity to join our Accounting and Logistics teams, getting down in the weeds and assisting in analyzing, tracking, optimizing and reporting large amounts of incoming advertising, sales, and logistics data to help plan an optimize our global inventory needs. This position requires an individual who is thoughtful, resourceful, and a great communicator that enjoys solving problems under his or her own initiative to help plan our global inventory needs.

    Ideal candidates will be organized, strategic thinking, quick learners, and extremely analytical with an interest in eCommerce, consumer goods, and data science. Applicants must have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work efficiently in a entrepreneurial team environment and be able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a must. PC and/or console gamers are welcome.

    During these difficult times, as we ease our way back into the office by exceeding State and Local Government Safety Requirements, this position will report full-time to our HQ in Westlake Village, CA.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform regular inventory risk assessments and mitigation activities throughout our global supply chain.
    • Analyze current warehouse capacity constraints and vendor order requirements such as lead-times and minimum order quantity to develop inventory purchasing forecasts.
    • Utilize historical sales trend and weekly sell-thru to develop and execute weekly demand planning for each of our global sales channels.
    • Forecast and manage global inventory data to ensure all required stock level goals are regularly maintained.
    • Compile and review weekly reporting on sales performance and inventory distribution metrics across our global network of dealers, distributors, and retail sales channels.
    • Regularly report on obsolete and excess inventory.
    • Assist the Accounting department with ongoing audits, inventory control, and reconciliations.
    • Analyze performance of sales growth, eCommerce PPC campaigns, lead generation, and other advertising campaigns and suggest strategies for improvement based on your ongoing analysis of how these sales activities affect inventory sell-through and the global supply chain.
    • Diagnose and assist with time sensitive issues relating to data errors and trends

    REQUIREMENTS

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Education: BA or BS college degree in business, finance, computer science, or related fields of study.
    • At least 2 years professional experience in a demand planning or consumer goods inventory forecasting role.
    • Deep analytical skills and problem solving ability.
    • Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, tenaciously follow-up, and meet competing deadlines.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel (Advanced Formulas, Tables & Formatting, Conditional Formatting, Advanced Charting, Pivot tables & Pivot Reporting, VLOOKUP, etc).
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Database skills such as the ability to write and maintain SQL queries.
    • Enthusiasm to introduce new solutions and streamline processes.
    • A genuine interest in technology and consumer electronics.
    • Experience with online marketplace consumer products e-marketing.
    • Experience with software collaboration, project management, or other digital organizational tools.
