  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close process and financial reporting processes.
    • Ensure adherence to the company's accounting policies, and that the policies and financial statements are compliant with GAAP and any other regulatory requirements.
    • Partner with FP&A for the monthly review of financial results
    • Active involvement in ERP system implementation
    • Prepare/review account reconciliations monthly
    • Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries to support financial statements including but not limited to inventory, fixed assets, payroll and intercompany.
    • Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns.
    • Prepare and file annual personal property tax returns.
    • Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
    • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

    Additional Information

    Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $112,800- $146,400. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com.
