  • Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    · Oversee and manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

    · Lead a team of AP specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

    · Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments.

    · Maintain strong vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring prompt payments.

    · Develop and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and policy violations.

    · Monitor and analyze AP metrics, reporting insights to senior management and recommending process improvements.

    · Manage month-end and year-end AP closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.

    · Collaborate with internal teams such as Procurement, Finance, and IT to streamline AP workflows.

    · Lead system implementations, upgrades, and process automation efforts related to AP.

    · Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including 1099 reporting and VAT submissions.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    · Proven experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

    · Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices.

    · Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

    · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.

    · Experience with process improvement initiatives and system implementations is a plus.

    · Knowledge of relevant tax and compliance requirements.

    · Leadership and team management.

    · Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    · Adaptability to evolving processes and technologies.

  • Qualifications

    Skill in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.  Excellent knowledge of routine and non-routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.  Skill in using a limited variety of packing procedures and techniques.   Knowledge of shipping documents and ability to identify shipping requirements and procedures for specific items using manual or automated processes.   May require skill in using heat sealers, cutters, hand and power tools.  Ability to complete manual and computerized forms and shipping documents regarding stock description, units of issue, weight, quantity, and labeling requirements outgoing materials and equipment.  Requires basic arithmetic and standard formulas to determine size and volume of packing containers and materials.  Ability to assemble standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.
